According to data from the German Federal Statistical Office, soybean-meal exports from German oil mills only reached 741,000 metric tons from July to November 2025, representing an 11 percent decline compared to the same period in 2024.
At the same time, the volume of rapeseed meal placed on the world market also dropped, falling 22 percent to 537,000 tons.
According to investigations by Agrarmarkt Informations-Gesellschaft (mbH), most rapeseed and soybean meal produced in Germany was exported to other EU countries.
The ports in the Netherlands were the main recipients for global shipments, as they were in previous years.
From July to November last year, Germany sold around 200,000 tons of rapeseed meal to this neighboring country, representing a 30 percent decline from the same period the previous year.
At around 87,600 tons, Denmark received 2 percent less, although it moved back up to second place among the most important recipients.
Rapeseed-meal exports to Sweden, Finland and Switzerland also remained below the previous year’s levels.
German deliveries to France dropped to 42,000 tons, a marginal decline compared with the first five months of the 2024-’25 marketing year.
Soybean meal also went mostly to other EU countries.
The Czech Republic was the largest recipient, with Germany delivering 148,300 tons from July to November last year, almost the same volume supplied in the reference period the year before.
In contrast, deliveries to Poland jumped from 96,000 tons to 106,000 tons.
