Argent Fuels introduces new Dieselite brand featuring higher biodiesel concentrations

Leading producer of waste-based biodiesel Argent Energy announced Oct. 1 that it is introducing a new brand name—Dieselite—to the company’s portfolio.

Dieselite is a high-quality “B+” biodiesel blend developed to help reduce commercial vehicle-fleet carbon emissions.

Produced in the U.K., Dieselite is a drop-in replacement fuel simple to introduce and, according to Argent Energy, seamlessly integrates with existing infrastructure.

“Dieselite may be a new name, but this exceptional biodiesel blend is already a proven winner, powering over 9,000 diesel vehicles nationwide,” said Colin Duke, head of sales for Argent Fuels.

Dieselite delivers immediate emissions reduction and the associated environmental gains at little to no extra cost compared to standard diesel fuel.

The fuel has been expertly designed for the transportation and logistics sectors, from heavy-goods vehicle operators to bus and coach companies.

Dieselite contains 10 percent to 30 percent biodiesel compared to standard diesel, which includes a maximum of 7 percent biodiesel.

Argent Fuels is unveiling the Dieselite brand at the fourth Clean Buses U.K. conference Oct. 1 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London-Docklands Riverside.
