Alfa Laval wins renewable diesel, SAF pretreatment processing line order
Lund, Sweden-based Alfa Laval has won an order worth 155 million Swedish krona (USD$18.4 million) to supply a feedstock pretreatment processing line to an undisclosed European petroleum refiner to support production of renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Delivery is scheduled for 2022.
The order includes Alfa Laval’s high-speed separators and various compact heat exchangers along with other equipment, engineering and services necessary to remove contaminants from fats and oil before conversion to renewable diesel and SAF.

Alfa Laval has 16,700 employees and the company’s annual sales in 2020 was approximately USD$4.93 billion.
