Rieckermann, co-owner of biodiesel and pretreatment pioneer BDI-BioEnergy International, announced July 17 the expansion of its strategic partnership with GIG Karasek into the Chinese market with immediate effect.

This marks a significant milestone in Rieckermann’s commitment to delivering advanced process technologies and engineering excellence across Asia, the company stated.

Together, GIG Karasek and Rieckermann bring a comprehensive portfolio of cutting-edge technologies to China, including:

  • Thermal separation technologies: Falling-film, thin-film, short-path, distillation and drying systems.

  • Environmental innovations: CO2 valorization and industrial heat-pump solutions.

  • Flexible project execution: From pilot plants and skid units to full-scale turnkey EPC projects.

  • Dedicated R&D capabilities: In-house technical center for trials and development.

According to Rieckermann, this partnership reinforces its shared commitment to customer satisfaction and long-term collaboration.

By combining GIG Karasek’s technological expertise with Rieckermann’s strong local presence and market knowledge, the company aims to deliver even greater value to customers in China.

The development also allows Rieckermann to be closer to customers, enhance service delivery and set new benchmarks in technical execution.

“Rieckermann looks forward to deepening existing relationships, engaging new prospects and jointly delivering successful projects with GIG Karasek in China,” the company said.

A member of the Dr. Aichhorn Group, GIG Karasek is a globally recognized industrial partner headquartered in Austria.

With decades of experience and expertise in thermal separation and innovative environmental technologies, GIG Karasek operates three locations and two in-house production facilities in Europe.

Its track record includes successful implementation of pilot systems, skid units and turnkey EPC projects worldwide.
