Neste merges Finnish engineering-solutions subsidiary into corporation

In April, Neste announced that it would merge the company’s wholly owned subsidiary Neste Engineering Solutions Oy into Neste Corp.
The plan has now been completed and the merger took place Oct. 1.
The merger affects only the Finnish operations. All Neste Engineering Solutions personnel in Finland have been transferred to Neste Corp.
Neste Engineering Solutions’ business will be conducted by the engineering-solutions unit as of Oct. 1.
“[The] engineering-solutions [unit] and Neste Engineering Solutions offer high-quality technology and engineering services, including among others engineering, procurement and project-management services for oil and gas, petrochemicals and biobased industries,” Neste stated. “[The] engineering-solutions [unit] operates in Finland, whereas Neste Engineering Solutions’ businesses in Singapore and in the Netherlands continue operating as Neste Engineering Solutions.”
Neste stated that it will continue assessing whether it is beneficial and feasible to also combine Neste Engineering Solutions’ businesses with Neste in the Netherlands and Singapore.
