Recently, Interpipe, a global manufacturer of steel pipes and railway products based in Ukraine, supplied pipes for the construction of an offshore wind farm in the English Channel, and continues the development of its green supplies with the delivery of 350 tons of linepipes for the construction of a new biobased diesel plant in southern Spain.
A spanish energy giant is expanding its capacities to produce second-generation biobased diesel made from used cooking oil and agricultural waste.
Interpipe supplied pipes with diameters from 203.2 millimeters to 355.6 millimeters in accordance with the ASTM A-106 GR 6 standard.
The customer will use Interpipe’s products as a fuel-conduction pipeline at the new plant.
“Since decarbonization has become mainstream, which significantly impacts the European market, more and more global energy companies are launching green projects in renewable energy and alternative fuels,” said Jorge Ruiz, pipe sales manager for European markets at Interpipe.
“Interpipe is continually seeking new segments and developing new products,” he said.
“This project has become first in this niche, marking the beginning of our further partnership with this client,” Ruiz added.
Interpipe is a global producer of steel pipes and railway products based in Ukraine.
The company’s products are marketed in more than 50 countries all around the world.
In 2024, Interpipe supplied 511,000 tons of pipes and 115,000 tons of railway products.
