Clean Fuels Alliance America announced June 10 the launch of the newly redesigned BQ-9000® website, delivering a streamlined and user-friendly experience that better showcases the value of biodiesel quality assurance and the benefits of certification through the industry’s gold-standard program.
Administered by the National Biodiesel Accreditation Commission and supported by Clean Fuels, the BQ-9000 program combines ASTM fuel standards with best practices for production, storage, handling and distribution.
The revamped website offers easy access to accreditation status for biodiesel producers, marketers and laboratories, helping fuel buyers and fleets make informed, confident choices.
“In today’s competitive energy environment, trust and performance are everything,” said Scott Fenwick, Clean Fuels’ technical director.
“BQ-9000 accreditation is more than a label—it’s a mark of quality that leading engine manufacturers, fleets and fuel suppliers depend on,” Fenwick said.
The new website makes it even easier for stakeholders to identify approved suppliers and understand why accreditation matters.
The refreshed site includes:
A searchable directory of BQ-9000-accredited companies.
Downloadable certificates for each accredited facility.
Resources for fuel marketers and OEMs on how BQ-9000 supports engine performance and warranty compliance.
Information on how to apply for accreditation.
With biodiesel playing a growing role in reducing emissions across on-road, off-road, marine, rail and heating-oil applications, the importance of fuel quality has never been greater.
BQ-9000-accredited companies consistently outperform baseline industry-quality standards, according to annual surveys conducted by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
“BQ-9000 fuels confidence—literally,” Fenwick said.
“Whether you’re operating a fleet, selling biodiesel or managing equipment performance, this program helps ensure the fuel you rely on is clean, reliable and ready to perform,” he added.
