Chimbusco Pan Nation pioneers B30 marine gasoil delivery in Hong Kong

Chimbusco Pan Nation announced July 11 what it called the first-ever delivery of a B30 marine gasoil (B30 MGO) in Hong Kong.

B30 MGO consists of 30 percent biodiesel and 70 percent MGO.

“This historic supply, delivered to Orient Overseas Container Line, represents the first time OOCL has received this unique fuel blend in the region, contributing to reduced carbon emissions and enhanced sustainability,” Chimbusco Pan Nation stated.

The delivery was completed July 11 and, according to the company, “solidifies Chimbusco Pan Nation’s leadership in advancing green-fuel solutions in East Asia.” 

Being the first bunker supplier in the region capable of providing all grades of ISCC EU-certified marine biofuel, including marine fuel and gasoil, Chimbusco Pan Nation said it continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting the maritime industry’s transition to sustainable energy.

In addition to the B30 MGO, this operation included a simultaneous delivery of B30 high-sulfur marine fuel oil, “showcasing the exceptional capability and efficiency of Chimbusco Pan Nation’s operational team,” the company stated.
