Chimbusco Pan Nation completes OOCL’s 1st B24 marine biofuel bunkering operation in Hong Kong

Chimbusco Pan Nation Petro-chemical Co. Ltd., a leading marine fuel-oil provider in Hong Kong, supplied ISCC-EU certified B24 marine biofuel Aug. 16 to a vessel operated by Orient Overseas Container Lines.

This marked OOCL’s first biofuel-bunkering operation in Hong Kong, representing a significant milestone in its decarbonization strategy, according to CPN.

“As the leading biofuel physical supplier in Hong Kong, CPN is proud to supply OOCL with the biofuel in this inaugural operation,” CPN stated.

According to CPN, this biofuel delivery reinforces its commitment to realizing ecofriendly port-energy solutions and global decarbonization goals.

The biofuel bunkering also demonstrated the determination of OOCL and CPN to reduce carbon emissions and actively contribute to green shipping, CPN stated.
