Broco Energy awarded 5-year statewide fuel contracts in Massachusetts

Broco Energy, a Massachusetts-based, veteran-owned small business, has been awarded two five-year statewide fuel contracts through the commonwealth of Massachusetts.
The awards include ENE53, covering ultra-low sulfur diesel, biodiesel and renewable diesel, and ENE58, covering No. 2 heating oil and APS-eligible* liquid biofuel.
The contracts allow eligible municipalities, government agencies and other public entities across Massachusetts to purchase fuel through the state’s established procurement program.
The awards reflect Broco Energy’s continued work supporting the fuel needs of public-sector customers throughout the region.
Broco Energy has continued to expand its role in New England’s clean-fuel market, including becoming the first company to supply and deliver renewable diesel for Massport’s first-of-its-kind renewable diesel initiative.
The project marked an important step in bringing renewable diesel to critical transportation infrastructure and reflects the company’s experience supporting customers as their fuel needs evolve.
That work is backed by Broco Energy’s fuel-distribution network and its rail infrastructure, including the largest rail-served biodiesel terminal in the Northeast.
Together, these capabilities allow the company to support dependable fuel supply while helping make renewable fuel options more accessible to customers across New England.
The ENE58 contract builds on Broco Energy’s work supplying heating oil and eligible liquid biofuels to customers throughout Massachusetts.
Through its Bioheat® heating oil offerings, the company continues to support customers looking for reliable heating fuel and additional options to meet their energy needs.
Broco Energy said it looks forward to serving eligible public entities throughout both contract terms.
“We appreciate the commonwealth’s confidence in Broco Energy and the opportunity to continue serving public entities across Massachusetts,” said Robert Brown, the president of Broco Energy. “Our team understands how important dependable fuel delivery is to the communities and organizations we serve. We’re proud of the work we’ve done to support customers across New England, and we look forward to continuing that work throughout these contract terms.”
