Advanced Biofuels Canada adds 3 new members

Advanced Biofuels Canada, a national trade association for advanced biofuels and synthetic renewable fuels, announced that three new members have joined its organization. The new members include LanzaJet, a low-carbon fuels technology company focused on providing sustainable aviation fuels and renewable diesel; Radicle, the largest developer of compliance-grade carbon credits in Canada; and Canary Biofuels, a future biodiesel producer with a project to retool and restart a plant in Lethbridge, Alberta, the company acquired from Invigor Bioenergy.

“Our members have a key voice in the push for effective federal and provincial policies and expanded production and use of non-fossil clean fuels to meet Canada’s net-zero goals,” said Ian Thomson, president of ABFC. “Our latest members bring extensive experience in carbon intensity assessment, technology development, and the production of low-carbon clean fuels.”

Advanced Biofuels Canada members represent nearly 4 billion gallons of installed annual production capacity worldwide.
